Thank you for visiting the Department of 运动机能学, Nutrition, 和 Dietetics (KiND)! We offer undergraduate programs in the area of 运动机能学 (Sport 和 Exercise Science, SES) with Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Exercise Science, Human Performance, Physical Education K-12 Teaching, 和 Sport Administration as well as a Minor in Physical Education Teaching 和 a Minor in Sport Coaching.

In Nutrition 和 Dietetics, we offer a BS degree in Dietetics, a BS in Nutrition, a Distance Dietetic Program (DDP), 和 a Minor in Nutrition. We also offer a Dietetic Internship to help prepare student to become Registered Dietitians.

I also invite you to explore our 研究生 运动机能学 (SES) programs 和 our 研究生 Dietetics programs. KiND offers graduate degrees in Athletic Training (M.S.),生物力学 (M.S. 和Ph值.D.), Exercise Physiology (M.S. 和Ph值.D.)，营养学(M.S.),营养学 with Dietetic Internship (M.S. with DI), Social Psychology of Sport 和Ph值ysical Activity (M.S. 和Ph值.D.), Physical Education 和Ph值ysical Activity 领导 (M.A.T. 和 Ph.D.), Sport Administration (M.S. 和Ph值.D.), 和 Sport Coaching (M.A.). 这些项目 provide students in depth study while helping to develop critical thinkers with the tools for conducting meaningful research 和 assuming leadership positions in their respective disciplines.

Leaders in Exercise, Physical Activity, 和 Sport

There is a long 和 distinguished history of 运动机能学 (Sport 和 Exercise Science) at the University of Northern Colorado. The Department of 运动机能学, Nutrition, 和 Dietetics (KiND) prepares individuals to assume leadership roles in exercise, sport, 和 physical activity settings.

Our 运动机能学 (or Sport 和 Exercise Science programs focus on many aspects of human movement 和 its application to sport management, physical activity 和 the quality 的生活. Students in SES focus on one of several areas of human movement, including physiological 和 biomechanical aspects of exercise, psychological 和 sociological aspects of physical activity, traditional 和 outdoor physical education, as well as the marketing 和 management of sport. Our degree programs prepare students to compete successfully for careers in the allied health industries, public school systems 和 sport management positions.
